This is the "results" page for a new kind of 365 project. One in which you aren't a casual, passive observer but an instigator.

This is my least favorite entry so far and I debated posting it at all.  My intent was to do something a little slick while I was driving (via a self-timer shot) but it didn’t turn out the way I envisioned it.  I decided to post it because a) it’s late in the day and I don’t think I have enough time to do another shot and b) because failure is just as important as success.  This is a failure, IMHO, but that’s a helluva lot better than doing nothing at all.
The title for the photo is (or at least was intended to be) “slow is smooth, smooth is fast” which is my new mantra.  I’ll explain it another day but for now, suffice it to say that the madness of LA traffic is a good metaphor for creativity in a chaotic life.
After this I’ll try to do fewer self-portraits. I prefer to photograph other people.
